High Flow Precats

The RV6 Performance High Flow Precats (RV6-HFC-01-06) are engineered as a direct bolt-in replacement for the stock precatalytic converters in select Honda and Acura vehicles. Constructed entirely from 304 stainless steel, these units feature 300-cell high-temperature catalytic converters, offering a significant upgrade in exhaust flow compared to factory components. They come with a built-in EGR tube provision, ensuring compatibility with the stock exhaust system. For optimal performance gains, RV6 recommends pairing them with their Long Tube J-pipe. While these precats alone provide a noticeable increase in horsepower and torque, with gains of 8-12 hp reported on stock V6 engines, the exact output can vary based on existing engine modifications. Adding a J-pipe and a performance tune will unlock further potential. Users can expect a sharper throttle response and improved power delivery. Fitment is specific to the 2013-2017 Honda Accord V6 and the 2015-2020 Acura TLX. The package includes two high-flow precats along with all necessary hardware for installation, including studs, nuts, bolts, gaskets, and an O2 plug. They are sold as one set per order.
