This high-flow catalytic converter is specifically designed for the 2001-2006 MINI Cooper S R53 and the 2005-2007 MINI Cooper S Cabrio R52. It modifies emissions equipment but does not remove or defeat it. However, it may not be CARB compliant and therefore not emissions legal in all states. It is explicitly stated as not for sale or use in California on any pollution-controlled vehicle, per the California Air Resources Board.
