It utilizes Turbosmart's unique collar design and advanced internal flow structures to achieve superior performance in a smaller package, being 50% lighter and 25% smaller than comparable valves. This model specifically functions as a recirculating diverter valve, returning excess boost pressure to the intake system instead of venting it to atmosphere. Constructed from Billet 6000 series aluminum, the GenV RacePort Plumback features a 38mm recirculation fitting and a 2.0-inch (50mm) inlet. Its design incorporates a hi-temp mil-spec silicone Nomex diaphragm, mil-spec hard anodized valve guide and stem, and Turbosmart's unique locking collar for positive sealing. The valve is boost-balanced and equipped with twin 1/8-inch NPT reference ports, with an optional Hall effect non-contact position sensor available for upgrade. The quick-release aluminum V-band clamp ensures secure and easy installation. This blow-off valve is proven to handle boost pressures exceeding 120 psi (over 8 Bar) and can bypass approximately 2500 HP worth of airflow. The product is supplied with necessary 1/8 NPT reference fittings, a V-band assembly, a profiled alloy weld-on fitting, and a blue spring rated for -18 to -14 Inhg (installed).
