When increasing horsepower, particularly with the addition of a supercharger, the stock fuel pump may struggle to meet the higher demand, potentially leading to a dangerously lean condition. This Cobalt pump is specified to deliver 190 liters per hour (50 gallons per hour) to ensure adequate fuel flow. This kit is designed as a direct in-tank replacement and includes a spacer and bolt for installation. It is recommended to replace the stock fuel pump when installing a supercharger. However, please note that this kit does not include a fuel pump sock filter; the original stock filter can be reused.
