This alternator offers a significant increase in both top-end and idle output. It is designed for OEM fitment and comes standard with a custom hard-anodized billet aluminum pulley and a 2-year replacement warranty.

The DC Power Engineering XP series 13547-270-XP-1 is a high-output alternator engineered for maximum idle output and advanced thermal protection. It features brute force idle output capabilities, ensuring consistent power delivery even at low RPMs. Constructed with 100% brand new USA-made components and subjected to rigorous testing, this alternator guarantees quality and durability. The XP series includes a custom hard-anodized billet aluminum pulley and boasts a 6-phase hairpin stator configuration for efficient power generation. Its specifications include a 14.8V output, 200A idle amperage (180A hot), and a maximum amperage of 270A (250A hot at 200°F). The integrated 3-step thermal protection system actively monitors temperature to prevent failures. Installation is straightforward due to its OEM fitment design, ensuring direct compatibility with the vehicle's original mounting points. Crucially, it is PCM compliant, meaning it will not affect the vehicle's PCM, Check Engine Light, or Charge Light, as it's a direct plug-in solution. The alternator is equipped with 12 50 amp press-fit diodes on an aluminum heatsink and features an 8MM x 1.25 copper positive output stud. This high-output alternator is specifically designed for the Toyota Supra models from 1993-1998 equipped with the 3.0L 2JZ engine. It comes with a 2-year replacement warranty for peace of mind.
