The ProCharger High Output Intercooled Supercharger System provides a substantial performance increase for 2007-2013 4.8L Chevrolet Silverado 1500 models. At the heart of the kit is the P-1SC-1 head unit, which features a patented self-lubricated design, high step-up ratio, and a billet gearcase to ensure reliability and consistent boost pressure. The included front-mounted air-to-air intercooler employs a durable bar-and-plate construction to effectively lower intake temperatures, mitigating detonation and supporting further performance modifications. Each system is shipped as a complete package, including the head unit, piping, mounting hardware, and an OBDII flash programmer with ProCharger-specific calibration. Professional installation is recommended due to the mechanical complexity involved. Users must be aware that vehicles built for export or other non-US specifications may require custom tuning. Furthermore, kits are built to order, requiring a 10 to 14 business day lead time. Please note that all engine and exhaust modifications must be disclosed at the time of order, as ProCharger is not responsible for boost levels or the quality of the tune on modified applications. Due to variations among factory computers and custom aftermarket parts, a professional dyno tune may be required for optimal performance. This kit requires the use of 91 octane fuel or higher.
