The Aftermarket Brand A960E-HTQ is a high output torque converter engineered to improve acceleration and off-the-line performance for turbocharged and naturally aspirated vehicles. This modified torque converter raises the stall speed by 500-700 RPM above the factory specification of 2540 +/- 150 RPM, enabling quicker getaways. A stall converter is the automatic transmission's equivalent of a clutch, transferring power from the engine to the transmission through a fluid coupling and multiplying torque during initial acceleration. Beyond its performance benefits, the torque converter also performs the crucial function of allowing the engine to idle while the vehicle is stopped and the transmission is in gear, by connecting and disconnecting the engine from the differential. This unit is compatible with a range of vehicles, including the 2013-2021 Subaru BRZ, 2013-2016 Scion FR-S, 2022+ Subaru BRZ, and 2022+ Toyota GR86. A core charge of $450.00 is included in the purchase price and will be refunded upon the return of your old core. Customers are responsible for return shipping of the core. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please include a copy of the receipt and your full contact information with the returned core.
