High-Performance Air Filter

The BMC Air Filters FB647/20 is a high-performance, lifetime, direct-replacement air filter. It is constructed using a "Full Molding" system, which creates a single mold without welded joints to prevent breakage. The filter media consists of multi-layered cotton gauze, soaked with low-viscosity oil and protected by an epoxy-coated alloy mesh. This construction offers enhanced protection against petrol fumes and oxidization due to air humidity. It filters down to 7 microns, offering more efficient filtration than OEM filters which typically filter at 10 microns. The rubber used in the filter system is durable and provides optimal adhesion to various airbox shapes. All BMC air filters are pre-oiled and can be regenerated using the appropriate BMC regeneration kit. The product is backed by a Lifetime Replacement Program. Fitment information specifies compatibility with various BMW M models including the F06 M6 Gran Coupe, F10 M5, F12 M6, F80 M3, F82 M4, F83 M4, and F87 M2 Competition, all with specific S63 or S55 engines.
