Overview

It features at least twice the clutch surface area of stock clutches, providing increased grip. The kit includes a CNC-machined billet aluminum pressure plate, friction and steel plates, a steel inner hub, and multiple sets of coil springs for tuning.

This clutch is made in the USA from aluminum with an anodized finish and can be used in wet or dry applications within an open or enclosed primary. It is compatible with various clutch types, and engine configurations vary by selection.

This clutch boasts at least double the surface area compared to stock, ensuring superior grip in demanding conditions. The kit is comprehensive, including a CNC-machined billet aluminum pressure plate, friction plates, steel plates, a steel inner hub, and additional sets of coil springs. These springs allow you to fine-tune the clutch to your specific needs. The clutch is constructed from durable aluminum with an anodized finish and is proudly made in the USA. Installation notes indicate that a hydraulic press is required to remove the OEM clutch hub and install the Barnett Scorpion clutch hub. While the kit comes with everything needed to replace the entire OEM clutch basket, it does not include gaskets, recommending a Cometic EST Primary Gasket Kit for a proper seal. One verified purchaser noted that this clutch would not fit with their BDL belt primary and belt final drive due to the sprocket/pulley hitting the inner primary case. Fitment is extensive, covering a wide range of Harley-Davidson Big Twin models from 1998 to 2006 (with an exclusion for '06 Dyna models), as well as various Buell, Harley-Davidson Sportster, and Victory models. Specific fitment details, including whether a clutch is cable-actuated or hydraulic, should be confirmed by selecting your exact vehicle from the fit guide, as variations exist.
