High Performance Coil Packs

The RIPP High Performance Coil Pack System is an ignition upgrade for various V6 Toyota and Lexus models, including Tacoma, 4Runner, FJ Cruiser, Tundra, Hilux, Avalon, Camry TRD, GS350, IS250, LC500h, RC350, RX350, and ES350. They are compatible with both supercharged and non-supercharged engines. Engineered with a heavy-duty primary core winding and a higher quality iron core with stronger laminations, these coil packs feature increased secondary core windings for sustained power delivery even at high RPMs. The RIPP coils boast 44% more power than OEM coilpacks, with claimed gains of 10-15 HP on 4.0L engines and 20-30 HP on 3.5L engines. Installation is a direct bolt-on process, requiring no special tools or modifications. For optimal performance and to achieve the quoted horsepower gains, RIPP recommends using at least 91 octane fuel. The company notes that while factory specifications may list compatibility with 87 octane, their testing revealed a small amount of pre-ignition at lower RPMs with lower octane fuel on 3.5L and 4.0L Toyota engines. The product includes all 6 coil packs and comes with a 1-year warranty.
