The BMC Performance Air Filter (FB654/20) is engineered as a lifetime, direct replacement for your vehicle's stock air filter. It utilizes BMC's "Full Molding" system, creating a single, durable piece without welded joints to prevent breakage. The filter media consists of multi-layered cotton gauze, pre-oiled with a low-viscosity oil, and is encased in an epoxy-coated alloy mesh for protection against fuel fumes and humidity. It is washable and re-oilable, meaning it can be restored to like-new condition using the appropriate BMC regeneration kit, offering long-term cost savings and reducing waste compared to disposable filters. This specific BMC Performance Air Filter is compatible with the BMW E70 X5 M and BMW E71 X6 M models equipped with the S63 4.4L V8 engine. It is designed for vehicles from model years 2009 through 2013 for the E70 X5 M and 2009 through 2014 for the E71 X6 M.
