Overview

The Trick Flow High Port 225 is a bare cylinder head designed for small block Ford engines. It features CNC-machined intake and exhaust runners, a 58cc combustion chamber, and a 225cc intake runner volume. The head is constructed from cast aluminum.

This cylinder head has a raised exhaust port location and a raised valve cover rail. It requires inline valve style pistons or specific High Port pistons. Intake valves, exhaust valves, springs, retainers, locks, seals, rocker arm studs, rocker arms, rocker arm nuts, and guideplates are not included. Valve guides made of bronze and ductile iron valve seats are included.

The Trick Flow High Port 225 cylinder head is a bare casting engineered for high-performance small block Ford applications, suitable for large cubic inch, power adder, and nitrous oxide combinations. Constructed from cast aluminum, these heads boast CNC-machined intake runners (225cc) and exhaust runners (95cc), featuring a 58cc heart-shaped combustion chamber. The intake ports are rectangular, and the exhaust ports are square with a raised location, 0.750 inches over stock. The valve cover rail is also raised by 0.350 inches over stock. Intake valve diameter is 2.080 inches, and exhaust valve diameter is 1.600 inches. The heads include bronze valve guides and ductile iron 3-angle valve seats. Important fitment and installation notes specify that these heads require either inline valve style pistons or specific High Port pistons. Additionally, this bare cylinder head casting does not include intake valves, exhaust valves, valve springs, damper springs, retainers, locks, valve stem seals, rocker arm studs, rocker arms, rocker arm nuts, or guideplates, and must be purchased separately. Designed for significant airflow and power gains across the entire RPM range, the High Port 225 shares features with other High Port heads, including unique valve spacing, extra strong castings, thick decks, superior cooling, and excellent airflow characteristics.
