The Trick Flow Specialties High Port 240 is a bare, CNC-machined aluminum cylinder head engineered for high-performance small block Ford engines. Sharing features with the High Port 192 heads, these 240cc intake runner heads boast unique valve spacing, raised exhaust runners, extra-strong castings, thick decks, and superior cooling. The top-of-the-line CNC Competition Ported runners feature a high-resolution surface finish to maximize airflow and power across the entire RPM range. Key specifications include 76cc combustion chambers, 95cc exhaust runners, and a heart-shaped combustion chamber style. The intake ports are rectangular and standard location, while the exhaust ports are square and raised 0.750 inches over stock. The valve cover rail is raised 0.400 inches over stock, and these heads require the use of inline valve style pistons or specific High Port pistons. This cylinder head is sold individually and comes as a bare casting, meaning intake and exhaust valves, valve springs, retainers, locks, seals, rocker arm studs, rocker arms, guideplates, and damper springs are not included. It features 20-degree intake and exhaust valve angles, bronze valve guides, and 3-angle machined ductile iron valve seats. The heads are cast aluminum with a natural finish and do not include steam holes, heat crossover, or O-ring machining. The oiling style is through the pushrod.
