The Toda Racing High Power Profile Camshaft is engineered to enhance performance for the Toyota 4AG 4-valve engine. This camshaft is offered in a variety of profiles, catering to different tuning needs with options for standard lifters or inner shim kits. Available specifications include a wide range of cam angles from 256 to 320 degrees and lift values from 7.9mm up to 11.0mm. For instance, the standard lifter versions (Part No. 14111-4AG-001 through 14111-4AG-042) offer angles up to 304 degrees with lifts up to 8.5mm. The inner shim kit versions (Part No. 14111-4AG-I01 through 14111-4AG-I91) provide even more aggressive options, with angles up to 320 degrees and lifts reaching 11.0mm. Installation of these high-performance camshafts necessitates careful consideration regarding engine management. The manufacturer explicitly states that stock ECUs are not usable with these camshafts, and even smaller profiles like 256 or 264 degrees may struggle to maintain a stable idle.
