The Toda Racing High Power Profile EX Camshaft Type A3 is engineered to enhance engine performance by increasing power output across the RPM range. This exhaust camshaft features a Type A3 profile with specific cam angles for primary, mid, and secondary lift, measuring 240 degrees (8.9mm lift) at primary, 290 degrees (12.5mm lift) at mid, and 235 degrees (8.4mm lift) at secondary. Installation of this camshaft requires specific supporting modifications and considerations. The OEM valve springs are not compatible and must be replaced with Toda Up Rated Valve Springs (Part Number 14750-F20-000). Additionally, thorough confirmation of valve-to-piston clearance, valve-to-valve clearance, and cam lobe-to-follower clearance during mid-cam and VTC operation is critical. For Type A3 and C camshafts, a programmable ECU with tunable VTC is necessary, and users must exercise discretion in selecting an appropriate ECU. This camshaft is compatible with select Honda K20A engines, specifically the Accord CL7 Euro R models (October 2002-November 2008), Civic Type-R EP3 models (December 2001-September 2005), Civic Type-R FD2 models (April 2006-August 2010), Civic Type-R FN2 Euro models (November 2009-June 2012), and Integra DC5 models (July 2001-July 2006). Compatibility is based on JDM car specifications, and fitment is not guaranteed.
