The PRL Motorsports High-Performance 1.3 Bar Radiator Cap is an upgrade for those seeking better cooling performance and engine bay aesthetics. It functions by increasing the cooling system pressure, thereby raising the boiling point of the coolant to help prevent overheating and ensure reliable operation under stress. Its pressure rating is 1.3 Bar (18.8 PSI), which is a key specification for its enhanced cooling capabilities. The cap features a clean, performance-oriented design that contributes to an improved engine bay appearance. This cap is designed as a universal Type-B fit for most Honda and Acura factory radiators. However, it is important to note specific exclusions: it does NOT fit the factory or PRL expansion tanks, the 2016-2021 Honda Civic, the 2017+ FK8 Honda Civic Type-R, or the 23+ Acura Integra Type-S.
