The Bosch EU5 Fuel Injector is a direct replacement for your BMW's high-pressure fuel system. This OE-quality injector is manufactured in Germany and includes a sealing o-ring, though it does not come with a decoupling element. All new turbocharged BMW engines utilize a direct fuel injection system, which injects fuel directly into the combustion chamber. This system operates at significantly higher pressures than conventional port injection. A properly functioning fuel system is crucial for these engines; if your BMW is experiencing misfires or a rough idle, a faulty fuel injector could be the cause. Symptoms of fuel injector failure include poor engine performance, rough idle, increased fuel consumption, and engine misfires, which can trigger the check engine light. Bosch is a leading global supplier of engine electronics and sensors, with a long history of innovation in fuel injection technology. This injector is specifically for cars with EU5 type injectors. It is essential to verify your BMW's injector EU number before ordering. After installation, the quantity compensation adjustment value must be entered into the DME using an appropriate scan tool, even if the value is the same as the original injectors.
