The Bosch 0 261 520 520 is a direct injection high pressure fuel pump (HPFP), often referred to as the "Supra pump" or HDP-6. It is designed as a performance upgrade for Gen 1 B48 and B58 engines, offering increased fueling capacity with 1.178 cc/rev and a maximum pressure of 350 bar, significantly higher than the HDP-5-EVO's 0.954 cc/rev and 250 bar. This pump serves as a straightforward solution for users looking to gain more power from tuned or modified applications. It is a direct replacement and upgrade for OE part numbers such as 13518631642. The pump is manufactured in Germany to performance quality standards. Installation on Gen 1 B58/B48 engines requires rotating the connector housing for the fuel quantity control valve; an extension harness is an alternative but not necessary. Crucially, tuning is required to fully realize the performance gains from this upgraded fuel pump.
