The KMD Tuning Gen-6-999-10 is a high-pressure fuel pump (HPFP) internals kit engineered to enhance fuel delivery for performance Mazda vehicles. Developed over extensive research and testing, these internals aim to provide superior performance and reliability compared to OEM components. The kit features precision-machined internals with a 50% larger volume than stock, designed for increased fuel flow. They are treated with advanced hardening surface treatments and high-strength coatings for durability. A high-rate spring is included to ensure increased reliability and efficiency, complementing the larger piston size (9.8mm) and octagonal piston head. The kit is specifically designed for the Mazda MZR engine, including applications like the Mazdaspeed 3, Mazdaspeed 6, and Turbo CX7. A two-year limited warranty, full-color installation instructions, and knowledgeable support are provided by the manufacturer. Fitment includes the 2007-2013 Mazdaspeed 3, the 2006-2007 Mazdaspeed 6, and the Mazda CX-7. The product is advertised as having no check engine light (CEL) illumination after installation and an estimated installation time of two hours with a difficulty rating of 3/5.
