The BAR-TEK® 4.0L TFSI upgrade high-pressure fuel pumps are engineered to significantly enhance fuel delivery for performance-oriented 4.0L TFSI engines. By converting original fuel pumps, these upgrades achieve substantially higher fuel pressure and flow rates, providing a full 50% increase over standard pumps. The core of the upgrade lies in the increased piston size, with a standard diameter of 10mm and an upgraded diameter of 11.5mm, directly contributing to higher fuel pressure. The tappet pump is further enhanced with a DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating, a crucial feature that minimizes wear, reduces friction, and offers superior resistance to corrosion.
