Show original supplier description
The WRS High Race Screen is a premium windscreen specifically designed for the BMW S 1000 RR and M 1000 RR models. It aims to provide enhanced rider protection and a sportier aesthetic, ideal for those seeking improved aerodynamics and a more aggressive appearance for their motorcycle. This screen is 80mm taller than the original, offering significantly greater coverage to reduce wind fatigue and turbulence. It meets DOT626 homologation standards and is TÜV certified, ensuring it adheres to safety and quality regulations. The contained thickness and inherent flexibility of the material contribute to its durability, offering better resistance in the event of a fall and simplifying replacement without requiring modifications to the motorcycle's fairing. The smoked finish adds to the aggressive look of the S 1000 RR and M 1000 RR. The manufacturer recommends tightening the mounting screws to 3Nm torque.
