High-Temp Catted Downpipe

The RV6 Catted Downpipe is engineered for the 2016-2021 Honda Civic 2.0L Sedan and Coupe models, addressing the power limitations imposed by the stock integrated exhaust manifold. Designed with advanced Solidworks 3D modeling and validated using a Romer CMM system, this downpipe ensures precise measurements and fitment. Constructed from premium 304 stainless steel, the downpipe features a high-strength precision-cast transition from the engine to the 2.5” tubing. This casting was developed using advanced flow analysis to achieve maximum flow characteristics with optimized, turbulence-free performance. The use of a 300-cell high-temperature catalytic converter is integral to its design, aiming to reduce restrictions found in the factory setup which often chokes the engine's power output. Specifications include 304 stainless steel for the transition, tubing, and flange, ensuring durability and corrosion resistance. The entire unit is fully TIG welded and argon back-gassed, guaranteeing pure and robust welds. The package includes essential installation hardware: three M10-1.25 x 42mm studs, four M10-1.25 flanged lock nuts, one M10-1.25 x 20mm flange bolt, an OEM Honda gasket, and a wire harness. RV6 Performance backs this downpipe with a 24-month warranty covering the castings and welding. Optional ceramic coating (Silver or Black) is available for enhanced thermal management, though processing for coated items adds an additional 7-14 business days to order fulfillment.
