The SPELAB EGR Delete Kit offers a professional-grade solution for eliminating exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) soot buildup in Duramax LLY 6.6L engines. Furthermore, reducing soot circulation helps lower engine coolant temperatures and mitigates the risk of costly EGR system repairs. This kit is a direct replacement and requires no additional glue. It is formulated for high-temperature applications and heavy-duty use, such as towing. The operating temperature range is -65°F to 650°F (-54°C to 343°C) intermittently, and it resists common auto and shop fluids. Installation requires ensuring the product size and shape match your vehicle. Note that some customers have reported that the bracket may require minor engineering adjustments for alignment, and the kit typically comes without installation instructions, necessitating some guesswork for bolt placement. The kit is specifically designed for the 2004-2005 GMC Sierra 2500/3500 HD and Chevrolet Silverado 2500/3500 HD models equipped with the 6.6L LLY Duramax Diesel engine.
