The Vogtland 956168 represents a performance upgrade for the suspension system, providing a 40mm lowering on both the front and rear of compatible vehicles. These springs are engineered from high-tensile steel, a material chosen for its strength and ability to withstand dynamic loads. The springs feature a protective coating consisting of phosphating followed by an epoxy powder coat. The compound spring rate aims to balance ride comfort during normal driving with enhanced performance when the vehicle is pushed to its limits. Fitment for these lowering springs includes the Cupra Born Type K1 (models 45, 58, 77, with up to 1100kg FA-Load, 2022+) and the Volkswagen ID.3 (Type E1, Pro, Pure, including Performance and Pro-S, with up to 1080kg FA-Load, 2019+). It is explicitly stated that these springs exclude 4WD vehicles. While various wheel and tire combinations are permitted, they must be released by the relevant testing institution, and the conditions specified in the wheel approval must be maintained. The measure of lowering may be reduced if the vehicle is equipped with an original sport suspension.
