The Summit Racing™ SUM-829407 is a mini high-torque starter engineered for Ford FE big block engines. This starter is designed to work with Ford FE engines, including popular displacements like the 352, 390, 427, and 428 cubic inch variants. This high-torque starter boasts an adjustable mounting block, allowing for precise alignment. It features a 4.4:1 gear reduction ratio to provide ample cranking power. The starter is specifically designed to fit Ford FE engines equipped with a 184-tooth flywheel or flexplate. Its compact design and 8.25-inch length are intended to provide clearance with OEM-style exhaust systems, a common challenge with larger starters.
