HIGH TORQUE STARTER 100 PERCENT NEW GM LS1/LS2/LS6 & LS7 ENGINES 12V/2.2 MOTOR 1

The Proform 66277 is a high-torque GM LS starter designed for increased cranking power. It features a gear-reduction design with a 2.2KW motor and a 15:1 torque ratio. This starter is 100 percent new and constructed with a billet aluminum mounting plate and full ball bearing construction.

Its offset design provides additional clearance between the oil pan and the starter, and can be rotated for chassis clearance. The 3.75-to-1 sealed gear-reduction drive ensures faster engine turnover compared to stock starters, delivering 40-50 percent more cranking power. Shims are included to set pinion-gear engagement when necessary.
