The PRL Motorsports High Volume Intake System Big Bore MAF housing upgrade is the largest MAF housing on the market, rated for 600+ horsepower. It offers a 47% increase in airflow volume over the factory MAF housing or Standard Bore HVI MAF.

This upgrade requires a tune/MAF scaling and is only compatible with the PRL Motorsports High Volume Intake System. It is intended for customers looking to make over 450 horsepower. The kit includes a billet aluminum MAF housing, 4-ply silicone hose, stainless steel worm clamp, and an injection molded evap fitting.

This kit is the largest MAF housing available, capable of supporting 600+ horsepower and providing a 47% increase in airflow volume compared to the factory MAF housing or the Standard Bore HVI MAF. PRL engineers have optimized the volute and MAF sensor flange placement to ensure stable fuel trims. This upgrade is specifically intended for vehicles making over 450 horsepower and requires a tune with MAF scaling. It is compatible only with the PRL Motorsports High Volume Intake System. The kit includes a billet aluminum MAF housing, a 4-ply silicone hose, a 304 stainless steel worm clamp, and an injection molded evap fitting. Important installation notes include: NO ECU CALIBRATION REQUIRED FOR THE STANDARD BORE MAF OPTION. However, BIG BORE MAF SCALING ECU CALIBRATION IS REQUIRED FOR THE BIG BORE MAF OPTION. The product fits all 2017-2021 Honda Civic Type-R FK8 models, including RHD and international variants. It fits the Factory Turbocharger Inlet Pipe or the PRL Motorsports Titanium Inlet Pipe. Please be aware that this product is NOT LEGAL FOR SALE OR USE IN CALIFORNIA ON ANY EMISSION CONTROLLED MOTOR VEHICLE.
