Overview

The PRL Motorsports High Volume Intake System is designed to reduce airflow restrictions in the factory intake for 2015–2025 Ford F-150 2.7L EcoBoost and 2015–2016 3.5L EcoBoost models. It features dual 4-inch roto-molded intake runners with integrated bell-mouth filters to ensure smooth airflow to the turbochargers. The system includes an oversized roto-molded airbox that seals to the hood for a cold air feed and is a direct bolt-on installation.

The PRL Motorsports High Volume Intake System is engineered to eliminate airflow restrictions in the stock intake for 2015–2025 Ford F-150 2.7L EcoBoost and 2015–2016 3.5L EcoBoost models. This system utilizes dual 4-inch roto-molded intake runners, each equipped with a high-flow cotton and steel mesh filter featuring bell-mouth inlets for optimized airflow to the turbochargers. Construction materials include Roto Molded HDPE for the airbox and intake tubes, 304 Stainless Aluminum for sheet metal components, and 5-layer reinforced silicone couplers. Dyno testing on a 2018 3.5L EcoBoost F-150 showed an average gain of +8 horsepower and +12 lb-ft of torque at 4000 RPM, and up to +22 horsepower and +17 lb-ft of torque at redline compared to stock. When paired with the PRL Intercooler, gains increased significantly. This intake system is not compatible with Power-Boost models. Additionally, due to emissions regulations, this product is not legal for sale or use in California on any emission-controlled motor vehicle.
