The PRL Motorsports High Volume Intake System is an air intake designed for the 2023+ Honda Civic Type-R FL5. It features a 6" cone filter and a rotomolded HDPE air box that utilizes the factory air duct and seal for optimal airflow and reduced heat soak. The system is CARB approved with EO D-878-8 and does not require ECU calibration.

The PRL Motorsports High Volume Intake System is engineered to significantly enhance airflow for the 2023+ Honda Civic Type-R FL5. This system incorporates a large 6" cone filter within a rotomolded HDPE air box, designed to work seamlessly with the factory air duct and seal. This integration, along with a secondary duct that channels air from in front of the radiator support, aims to reduce heat soak and eliminate air starvation, especially during demanding driving conditions. Testing indicates a 133% increase in airflow over the stock unit, contributing to improved engine performance. The intake tract features a stepped silicone design to ensure smooth transitions and minimize resistance. This intake system is CARB approved (EO D-878-8) and does not require any ECU recalibration, making installation straightforward. It is designed exclusively for use with the factory turbocharger inlet pipe. This product is not legal for sale or use in California on any emission-controlled motor vehicle.
