The RacingLine Higher Output Ignition Coils are designed as a direct, plug-and-play replacement for your vehicle's original ignition coils. They are engineered to deliver a stronger and more consistent spark by increasing output energy by 10% over OE specifications. This enhancement is optimized for VW Group's TFSI/TSI/FSI engines, providing the ideal balance for increased spark strength without causing excessive internal temperatures. These coils are particularly beneficial for drivers aiming to maximize performance from stock or Stage 3 tuned vehicles. They ensure stable coil voltage under load, maintaining consistent performance from idle to red-line. For older engines still equipped with original coil packs, replacing them with these higher output versions is a worthwhile preventative maintenance upgrade, mitigating the risk of misfires due to age-related breakdown. The VWR900003 coils are specifically designed for vehicles fitted with the following engines: 1.8 TSI EA888 Gen 1, 2.0 TFSI EA113, 2.0 TSI EA888 Gen 1, 2.5 TFSI (pre-2017), 3.0 V6 TFSI Supercharged, 4.2 V8 FSI, and 5.2 V8 FSI.
