The HKS HIPERMAX S Full Kit represents a significant evolution in HKS suspension technology, integrating and renewing the previous MAXIV GT Series. After nine years of development, this new series incorporates all the characteristics of its predecessors while enhancing damping force, durability, and appearance. This full kit features a single-tube design for optimal performance and consistency. It offers an extensive 30 levels of adjustable damping, allowing users to fine-tune their suspension for a variety of driving conditions. The shock-body length is adjustable, providing further customization for ride height and setup. A dual pre-load valve system is implemented to suppress unnecessary damping force during high piston speeds, contributing to a major improvement in ride comfort without compromising driving dynamics. The system also includes a rubber upper mount for reduced vibration transfer. The benefits extend to an evolved bump stop rubber with a new shape that reduces body roll while simultaneously achieving ride comfort, a feat not typically possible with standard hydro bump stops. HKS's advanced tribology technology has been applied to achieve superior durability and lower friction compared to previous products, enhancing both ride quality and handling performance. The wide range damping force adjustment mechanism, with an improved needle jet shape, further expands the suspension's versatility across different driving stages.
