The CURT 2-5/16" trailer ball is a towing component designed for heavy-duty use. It is constructed from high-strength, hot-forged steel and features a durable chrome-plated finish for protection against the elements. This trailer ball is rated for a capacity of 10,000 lbs GTW and fits 2-5/16" couplers.

It includes a 1-1/4" shank diameter, a 2-5/8" shank length, and 0" of rise. The ball is secured with a zinc-plated hex nut and helical lock washer, featuring fine threads for superior holding strength. The CURT 40006 meets U.S. VESC V-5 specifications and is tested for safety. Installation notes specify that the mounting platform must be at least 3/8" thick, and the hole size should not exceed the shank diameter by more than 1/16".
