HITCHGATE SOLO SERIES

The Hitchgate Solo High-Clearance is a strong and lightweight hitch-mounted spare tire carrier from Wilco Offroad. It is designed to go lean and low, accommodating a 35-inch (on mid-sized vehicles) or smaller spare tire and Rotopax fuel cans. The horizontal support arm sits 4 inches lower than the Hitchgate Classic or MAX, and the truck mount is at the same level as the vehicle's receiver hitch. This design is ideal for vehicles with tight clearance between the rear hatch/door and the receiver. The Hitchgate Solo line is tow-rated at 7,500 lbs (max trailer weight) and 750 lbs (tongue weight). The tire carrier itself is rated for 150 lbs of total weight (tire, wheel, and any accessories). It swings out 160 degrees for full access to the vehicle's cargo space.
