The HKS HIPERMAX Series MAX IV GT is a high-performance sports suspension system designed for both street and track use. It features a single tube damper design for accurate control and adjustment of damping, leading to a more stable ride with a lower ride height and center of gravity. The coilovers include dust boots to protect the shaft from debris and a special PNE coating that offers 5 times better durability than standard galvanizing, ensuring easier height adjustment by preventing thread buildup. The M Shaft (Ø46 normal type) design optimizes oil pressure for firm damping even at small stroke ranges, primarily in the rear damper for an enhanced driving experience. For precise steering, the kit adopts pillow ball upper mounts. A newly designed needle refines low, middle, and high-speed damping for improved ride comfort. To reduce unsprung weight, components such as brackets, ride height adjusters, and lock nuts are made from aluminum (though not for all vehicles). The system offers 30 levels of damping force adjustment, allowing for fine-tuning to suit various driving conditions (street, circuit, winding roads, highway) or vehicle weight.
