Description

The PTP Turbo Blanket is a heat protection accessory designed for the factory 2015+ Honda Civic FK2/FK8 Type-R turbocharger. It helps reduce turbo lag, lower intake air temperatures, and protect under-hood components by isolating turbocharger heat. This can lead to improved turbocharger efficiency and a boost in horsepower.

The blanket features an outer layer made from pulverized volcanic lava rock, rated for 1800°F direct heat and 2500°F radiant heat. Internally, it is insulated with calcium magnesium silicate wool, rated for 1832°F continuous and 2300°F peak temperatures, and overlaid with a durable stainless steel mesh. Each blanket is hand-crafted in North America.
