The Varis Cooling Bonnet Hood is a high-performance exterior upgrade crafted from carbon fiber for the Subaru Impreza WRX STI GRB and GVB models. This hood offers a dramatic weight savings, reducing the vehicle's front-end mass from the stock 18.5 kg to a mere 0.9 kg, contributing to improved handling and aesthetics. Designed with functionality in mind, this cooling bonnet incorporates a specialized duct cover to aid in engine bay cooling. Please note that this Varis Cooling Bonnet cannot be used with standard bonnet dampers; a stand is included to compensate for this. The product is explicitly stated as being intended for JDM cars, and fitment is not guaranteed for non-JDM applications. Compatibility is confirmed for various Subaru Impreza WRX STI GRB and GVB models with specific engine and applied date ranges. This includes Subaru Impreza WRX STI GRB Applied A through E (October 2007 - April 2014) and Subaru Impreza WRX STI GVB Applied C through E (July 2010 - April 2014), all featuring the EJ207 engine.
