To optimize weight, cost, and minimize vehicle modification, this kit employs a single gas spring. However, this design necessitates careful closure of the hood to prevent twisting or damage. Users must be cautious, pushing the hood down gently and from the side where the gas spring is located. Aggressive closing, especially from the middle or the opposite side of the gas spring, can damage the aluminum hood.
