Description

The StrongArm C7170 is a lift support designed to replace worn-out struts and gas springs. Lift supports help maintain the open position of hoods, hatches, and tailgates, preventing them from slamming shut. This lift support features an extended length of 24.62 inches and a travel of 10.0 inches, with a force of 33 lbs.

Manufactured in the U.S.A. by AVM Industries Inc., the StrongArm C7170 is built to OE quality standards. It is constructed with a hardened, nitride plated steel shaft for durability and features a rubber O-ring piston seal to prevent leaks. The heavy gauge steel body is electrostatically painted and heat cured. Installation requires no special tools.
