The Strong Arm E4182 is a hood lift support designed for automotive applications. The support has a steel body with a black electrostatically painted and heat-cured finish, and a hardened, nitride-plated steel shaft for durability. It includes a rubber O-ring piston seal to prevent leakage and ensure controlled lifting. The upper bushing is manufactured with precision for an exact fit and longer operating life. No special installation tools are required.
