Overview

This kit utilizes the OEM hood with purposefully placed louvers to keep weight lower than most carbon vented hoods. The rain guards collect and dump water onto the radiator and shroud, preventing it from entering the engine bay.

By utilizing the factory hood and adding purposefully designed and tested louvers, this kit offers a lower weight profile compared to many aftermarket carbon fiber vented hoods. Constructed from 0.063 thick 5052 aluminum, these rain guards are CNC laser cut and CNC press brake bent for precision. They feature a durable black powdercoat finish for a sleek look and long-lasting protection. The primary function of these guards is to collect rainwater and direct it forward, specifically onto the radiator and shroud. This effectively prevents water from being dumped onto other critical engine bay components, offering protection and maintaining optimal operating conditions. The kit includes two small rain guards, two large rain guards, and sixteen serrated nuts. This rain guard kit is compatible with the 2013-2021 Subaru BRZ, 2017-2021 Toyota 86, and 2013-2016 Scion FR-S.
