This system allows for one-handed operation, lifting the hood unassisted. It features black powder-coated steel mounting hardware and black gas springs with black e-coated steel bodies and black annealed extending rods.

This system provides a clean appearance and modern convenience with its one-handed operation – simply begin lifting the hood, and it will rise smoothly and under its own power. Constructed with durability in mind, the QuickLIFT PLUS system features all-black installation hardware. The steel mounting hardware is zinc-plated and then black powder-coated for superior corrosion resistance. The gas springs themselves have a black e-coated steel body and a black annealed extending rod, with specialized end-fittings for each application. Redline Tuning's exclusive progressive-rate gas springs include end-of-stroke dampening to slow extension in the final inches, reducing stress on the hood. Installation involves attaching ball stud brackets, which requires drilling and the use of special multi-grip rivets included in the kit. Detailed full-color installation manuals are provided to guide the process. The system is designed and manufactured in the USA and comes with a four-year warranty on all QuickLIFT PLUS components. This specific QuickLIFT System is designed to fit the 1995-2001 Ford Explorer and 1997-2001 Mercury Mountaineer models.
