The JBR Hood Scoop Vented Insert is designed to enhance the aggressive styling of your 2010-2013 Mazdaspeed 3 while offering performance benefits. This component helps to lower boost air temperatures more quickly when used in conjunction with a front-mounted intercooler by reducing negative pressure within the engine bay. While it does not negatively impact boost air temperatures when used with a factory top-mounted intercooler and its original ducting, it effectively prevents larger debris such as rocks, birds, and bugs from entering the engine bay and potentially damaging the intercooler. Constructed and manufactured in the USA, this insert is available in various finishes including Mirror Red, Mirror Black, Mirror Blue, Mirror Clear, and Unfinished, allowing for customization to match your vehicle's aesthetic. The kit includes the vented insert cover and installation instructions.
