The Design Engineering 10405 Hose Heat Sleeve is constructed from a high-temperature fiberglass fabric bonded to an aluminized material, offering robust thermal protection for automotive components. Its flexible design allows it to be shaped to fit tight bends, accommodating various applications. The built-in hook and loop closure system provides a simple and secure installation, eliminating the need to remove connectors or ends from the components being protected. This product is fireproof and can withstand direct continuous temperatures of up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit and radiant heat up to 2000 degrees Fahrenheit. Installation is straightforward, with the wrap easily adhering over the hose using its integrated Velcro closure. The sleeve is easily trimmed to the desired length, offering versatility for different applications. It is designed to fit hose diameters ranging from 1/2 inch up to 1-1/4 inch. The silver color complements engine bay aesthetics while providing critical thermal management. This product is sold individually, with each sleeve measuring 3 feet in length.
