The Currie Enterprises Universal 58" Hot Rod Round-Back Rear End Kit with 31 Spline Flanged Axles features a 9-PLUS heavy-duty housing and 31 spline performance axle package. The overall width is 58", measured from outside-of-axle-flange to outside-of-axle-flange. The housing is built housing-centered with a 0.94" pinion offset, and includes steel 3" diameter tubes with a small webbed-style center that easily accepts triangulated 4-link brackets. This kit requires a 9" Ford 3rd member (center section). The axles are designed with both 5 x 4 1/2" and 5 x 4 3/4" wheel bolt patterns, and include one set of 7/16" studs and one set of 1/2" studs. It also features 1/4" thick heavy-duty bearing retainer plates and tapered Timken style wheel bearings pressed on. The axle flanges are the Big Bearing Ford (New Style), also known as "Torino".
