Hotchkis 64-72 GTO / 78-88 El Camino 1.5 Street Performance Series Aluminum Shocks - Rear

The Hotchkis 71020009 is a rear performance shock absorber designed for GM A and G Body vehicles. Manufactured by Fox and tuned by Hotchkis engineers, these shocks offer a smooth ride and exceptional control.

Featuring cutting-edge mono-tube shock technology, they have a lightweight, smooth-bore Type III hard-anodized aluminum body. The shocks utilize digressive disc technology, a high-flow piston, specially formulated oil, and high-pressure nitrogen for consistent performance. Each shock is application-tuned for superior comfort and control. The 1/2" hard chrome-plated alloy shaft is heat-treated and subjected to 100-hour salt spray testing for durability. A dual seal in the rod guide prevents contaminants, and the end caps are black anodized 6061-T6 billet aluminum with polyurethane bushings.
