Howards Cams Retro-Fit Hydraulic Roller Camshaft and Lifter

The Howards Cams CL110245-10 is a retro-fit hydraulic roller camshaft and lifter kit designed for 262-400 cubic inch Small Block Chevy engines manufactured between 1955 and 1998. This kit is engineered for a versatile operating range of 1600 to 5400 RPM, offering a .500 inch intake lift and .510 inch exhaust lift. Constructed with high-grade cores, each Howards camshaft undergoes Rockwell checking and Parkerizing to ensure stringent quality control standards. This camshaft kit is optimized for a fair idle and is suitable for street/strip applications. It is compatible with a 2500+ stall converter and features a firing order of 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2. Note that stock (O.E.) valve springs cannot be used with this camshaft, and a thrust button is required for installation. The kit includes the camshaft and Howards PN 91164N hydraulic roller lifters.
