Engineered for extreme reliability, this unit features a 6-phase hairpin stator configuration and an integrated monitoring system to help prevent thermal failures.

The DC Power Inc. 180 Amp HP High Output Alternator is engineered to provide a significant increase in both idle and top-end amperage for demanding electrical systems. Built with 100% brand new components, this alternator utilizes a 6-phase hairpin stator and a high-efficiency rectifier with 12 40-amp press-fit diodes on an aluminum heatsink for superior thermal management. It includes a 3-step thermal protection system and comes standard with a custom hard-anodized billet aluminum pulley. This unit is a direct-fit OEM replacement that is fully PCM compliant, meaning it will not trigger check engine lights or charge warning lights on supported vehicles. It is compatible with 2001-2010 Subaru Impreza WRX and 2004-2010 WRX STI models equipped with 2.0L or 2.5L EJ-series turbocharged engines. Please note this application is restricted to EJ-series engines only. Each alternator undergoes rigorous testing before shipping to ensure consistent quality and performance. The unit features an 8mm x 1.25 copper positive output stud and is backed by a 2-year replacement warranty.
