It incorporates an anti-drain back valve to prevent oil from draining into the crankcase when the engine is off, ensuring immediate lubrication upon startup. The heavy-duty outer wall construction further supports high-pressure operation. The filter also includes a pre-drilled hole for an optional safety wire, a feature commonly found on race cars to secure the filter and prevent it from detaching during extreme conditions.
