Show original supplier description

The Hawk HB661N.667 brake pads utilize the HP Plus compound, a Ferro-Carbon, high-tech friction material engineered for demanding sport driving scenarios. These pads are an excellent choice for Autocross, Solo II, and track day participants who require a high-performance race compound that can withstand track heat and remain safe for the drive home without needing to be changed. The HP Plus compound offers significant advantages over OEM pads, including a noticeable increase in brake torque and an expanded temperature range. This makes them ideal for enthusiasts seeking enhanced street performance or those venturing into autocrossing or track days for the first time. The unique formulation provides smooth, predictable torque and fade resistance. Key characteristics of the Hawk Performance HP Plus compound include a low to mid-temperature operating range, with an optimal temperature range between 300-600 degrees Fahrenheit and an operating range up to 800 degrees Fahrenheit. It's important to note that all Hawk Performance compounds are designed exclusively for use with Iron/Metal rotors and are not compatible with carbon ceramic rotors.
