The Hawk Performance HP Plus brake pad compound (HB103N.590) is engineered for drivers who participate in autocross, Solo II, and track day events, but still require reliable street performance. This Ferro-Carbon friction material delivers higher torque values and improved temperature range compared to stock pads, ensuring consistent performance when pushed. Developed for sport driving, the HP Plus compound is specifically recommended for enthusiasts, including beginners, seeking a noticeable upgrade over OEM brake pads. The pads offer a low to mid temperature range with optimal performance between 300-600 Deg F, and a maximum operating temperature of 800 Deg F. They are noted for being fade resistant and providing smooth, predictable torque. Important compatibility notes: All Hawk Performance compounds are not compatible with carbon ceramic rotors. Additionally, proper bedding-in procedures are recommended for optimal performance and longevity.
